The purpose of the European Oilseed Alliance (EOA) is to represent the EU oilseed sector and make its voice heard at the EU level.

EOA was founded in April 2002 and brings together the oilseed producing organisations from the main European producing countries (Germany, France, UK, Poland, Czech Republic, Finland and Belgium). Its members currently represent 90% of the EU oilseed production.

EOA also works in association with the European organisations representing the oilseed supply chain, producers, processors, and seed breeders: Copa-Cogeca, Fediol, the European Biodiesel Board and the European Seeds Association.
